Next Media, Capital Radio Group Partner to Expand Audience Reach and Content Collaboration

At Next Media, we believe that meaningful growth happens when great organizations come together around a shared vision.

That vision took another significant step forward on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, as we welcomed the leadership team from Capital Radio Group to the #NextMediaPark for a day of engagement, collaboration, and strategic conversations that culminated in the formalization of a landmark partnership between our two organizations.

Led by Chief Executive Officer Peter Jackson Mungoma, the Capital Radio Group team toured the Park, gaining firsthand insight into the people, technology, and platforms that continue to shape how millions of Ugandans consume content every day.

The visit provided an opportunity for both organizations to explore how their collective strengths can create richer experiences for audiences and greater value for advertisers across Uganda.

The collaboration brings together two respected media ecosystems. Next Media’s portfolio spans television, radio, digital publishing, streaming, and audience engagement platforms, while Capital Radio Group is home to some of Uganda’s most recognizable radio brands, including Capital FM, Beat FM, and KIIS FM.

Speaking during the engagement, Capital Radio Group Chief Executive Officer Peter Jackson Mungoma described the partnership as a natural progression of a relationship that has already produced successful collaborations over the years.

“We are excited about this partnership because we have worked with Next Media on several occasions before. Together, we have created experiences that have connected with millions of Ugandans. This collaboration allows us to do even more for our listeners and audiences across the country,” Mungoma said.

He added that the partnership creates exciting possibilities by combining the strengths of radio with visual and digital storytelling.

“Radio has always been a powerful medium for creating content and connecting with audiences. Through this collaboration, that content can now reach audiences across multiple platforms, creating an even richer experience for both listeners and viewers.”

For Next Media, the collaboration represents another opportunity to strengthen audience experiences while creating innovative solutions for brands and partners.

According to Ben Mwine, Head of Corporate Affairs and Partnerships, the partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to building stronger media ecosystems that deliver meaningful impact.

“When you look at what both organizations have been building over the years, there is a clear opportunity to create greater value through collaboration. We are focused on expanding audience reach, encouraging engagement, and delivering experiences that serve both audiences and advertisers in more impactful ways,” Mwine said.

The partnership will create opportunities for content collaboration, audience engagement initiatives, and integrated campaigns while allowing each organization to maintain its unique identity, editorial direction, and operational independence.

As audience habits continue to evolve across radio, television, digital, and mobile platforms, collaborations such as this present exciting opportunities to meet audiences wherever they are while delivering content that is relevant, engaging, and accessible.

As we begin this new chapter alongside Capital Radio Group, we look forward to creating experiences that connect, inform, entertain, and inspire audiences across Uganda for years to come.
