The Uganda Marketers’ Society’s ‘Annual Marketers’ Fireplace’ happened in Kampala on Friday, December 2, 2022, and NBS, a platform that prides itself in Informing to Transform, was once again the go-to media partner of choice.
In the lead-up to the much-awaited event, PR Smith, a TED Speaker, Digital Marketing Author, and Creator of the SOSTAC® framework, the headliner of this year’s event, appeared on NBS’ Morning Breeze to break down why all marketers needed to attend.
Following the interview, PR Smith had a tour of the Next Media Park, during which he got himself a photo moment with the Next Media Group CEO, Kin Karisa.

This full-day event successfully created a platform for the Marketing ecosystem to workshop and discuss topical issues that defined 2022 and those envisaged as game-changers in the next year.
The Marketer’s Fireplace is an annual conference that brings together marketing professionals from various industries across Uganda. It allows marketers to learn about current and developing trends, network with peers and brands, and stir up new inspiration and enthusiasm for their work.
