Our team at Next Media, led by Group CEO Kin Kariisa, recently embarked on a strategic trip to Nairobi to explore content creation, influencer marketing, and the evolving digital creative economy.
Accompanied by members of our content, digital, and operations teams, they connected with some of Kenya’s top creative minds, including iHub, Baraza Lab, BBC Africa, BBC Swahili, Twiva Ltd., and K24. Their willingness to share insights was nothing short of enlightening.
This wasn’t just about observing; it was about understanding how we can drive change in Uganda. The Creator Hub and influencer initiatives we’re building are set to empower Uganda’s talent to reach global heights. What was learned in Nairobi gave our teams fresh perspectives on how to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in Uganda.
At Next Media, we’ve been on the digital agenda for over three years, laying the groundwork for Uganda’s creative and digital revolution. What we learned in Nairobi further solidifies our commitment to this vision. With initiatives like the Creator Hub and our growing influencer platforms, we are strategically building a future where Ugandan creators are equipped to thrive in a global digital economy.
