Next Media convened a powerful roundtable at the Next Media Park, bringing together some of the sharpest minds in Uganda’s creative space—music producers, filmmakers, content visionaries, and industry thought leaders.
Among the participants were well-known names like Hosea Ntaborwa, Ahuurra Andrew, Musta Abdallah, Richard Kaweesa, and Washington, all united by a shared ambition: to redefine the future of Uganda’s creator economy.
During the session, Group CEO Kin Kariisa gave the team a walkthrough of the Next Creator Hub, still under construction but already brimming with potential. More than just a studio space, the Hub is envisioned as a transformational platform—one designed to elevate Uganda’s content creators, expand their incomes, grow their global reach, and amplify their impact.
“The future of employment is shifting, and content creators sit at the heart of it,” Kariisa noted. “If we get this right, creatives in Uganda won’t just entertain—they’ll build sustainable businesses, create jobs, and export our stories to the world.”
The meeting is part of a series of ongoing high-level engagements as Next Media brings together stakeholders committed to unlocking new opportunities for the creative sector.
With the Next Creator Hub, Next Media aims to build more than infrastructure—it’s building a launchpad for Uganda’s creative potential.
We move.
