Next Media Signs 3-Year Broadcast Partnership with Uganda Rugby

Next Media is proud to announce the signing of a new 3-year broadcast agreement with the Uganda Rugby Union, further deepening our commitment to telling Uganda’s sporting stories with authenticity and passion.

At the time, choosing to cover Ugandan rugby was not the obvious move—but it felt important. Since then, we’ve witnessed firsthand how rich and layered the rugby ecosystem is. From schools and universities to the Uganda Cup, the National 7s, and the Uganda Rugby Premier League, every game has brought powerful narratives to light—stories of grit, discipline, talent, and national pride.

Now, this new partnership positions NBS Sport as the Official Broadcast & Production Partner of the Rugby Africa Cup 2024, which Uganda is hosting for the second consecutive year. This edition carries even greater weight as a Rugby World Cup Qualifier, placing Uganda on the continental stage once again.

As the spotlight returns to our motherland, Next Media is honored to play its role: ensuring that every try, every tackle, and every triumph is seen, heard, and remembered.

This is more than just sport—it’s a narrative unfolding in real time, and we’re here to tell it.
