Joy is an award-winning strategic leader with over a decade of experience designing and managing complex programs that drive digital transformation, operational excellence, and social impact across the fintech, media, and social commerce sectors.
Her career has seen her successfully lead end-to-end project cycles, from concept design and grant sourcing to stakeholder engagement and measurable impact. She has built and nurtured high-impact private and public sector partnerships, implemented scalable, youth-centered programs, and led cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable job creation and economic empowerment initiatives across Africa.
At Next Media, Joy’s expertise will play a pivotal role in aligning our marketing and ventures strategy with our purpose, to inform, to transform. She will guide our brands in innovating for the next generation of audiences, leveraging creativity, technology, and strategic collaboration to expand our influence across Africa’s evolving media landscape.
With experience spanning more than eight African markets and partnerships with global brands such as CNBC Africa, Forbes Africa, TechCabal, Multichoice Africa, and Standard Media Group, Joy brings both depth and breadth to her new role. Her proven ability to navigate complex, multicultural environments and drive operational excellence will further strengthen Next Media’s pursuit of excellence and sustainability.
