On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, globally renowned evangelist and author Nick Vujicic visited the #NextMediaPark, where he engaged with Transformers, participants of the CREATE Program, and toured our facilities as part of his visit to Uganda.
His presence at the park created moments of inspiration, reflection, and meaningful conversations around resilience, purpose, mental well-being, and inclusion, values that continue to shape conversations across communities worldwide.
Nick’s visit also reflected our continued commitment to disability inclusion and accessibility across our platforms, partnerships, and workspaces. From accessible structures within the #NextMediaPark to supporting initiatives that amplify diverse voices and abilities, inclusion remains part of our broader mission to Inform to Transform.
Earlier in the day, Nick appeared on the NBS Breakfast Meeting hosted by Victoria Sibiya, where he spoke about faith and the importance of addressing growing global conversations around anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and loss of hope.
“In a world increasingly marked by anxiety, uncertainty, emotional exhaustion, and loss of hope, conversations around faith, resilience, mental well-being, and purpose have become more important than ever,” he shared.
Reflecting on his future vision and connection to Uganda, Nick added:
“I am now looking forward to my next decade, and over the next 10 years, we are reverse-engineering concepts. I want to come back to Uganda not just to preach the gospel, but to do the work.”
During his time at the park, Nick interacted with young creatives and media professionals, encouraging them to continue building purpose-driven careers while believing in possibilities beyond limitations.
Just days before his visit to the #NextMediaPark, on May 18, 2026, Nick spearheaded the official launch of the third edition of Beyond the Canvas at the Reach A Hand Uganda Africa Headquarters in Lungujja, Kampala. Running under the theme “Abilities Beyond Limits,” the initiative is a multi-stage talent and advocacy platform focused on empowering young creators and advancing conversations around inclusion and ability.
As sponsors of the initiative, NBS Plus, Next Radio, and AfroMobile continue to support platforms that create opportunities for young people, amplify important conversations, and champion stories that inspire transformation across communities.
Nick’s visit to the #NextMediaPark reinforced the importance of creating spaces where purpose, inclusion, creativity, and hope can thrive.
