Doreen Katusiime Mweheire, former Next Media Services Chief of Staff and Head of Production and General Manager Next Production Limited has been laid to rest on 8th October in Bushenyi. All through these, she is remembered as a remarkable human that made a gazillion friends! She was a natural-born leader wherever she went, a go-getter, a firecracker that stopped at nothing for all that mattered.
Doreen started her career at Kin Group in 2006, immediately after university, as the Executive Assistant to CEO, Kin Kariisa.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our Chief of Staff and Chief Productions Officer, Mrs. Doreen Katusiime Mweheire.
Doreen passed away this afternoon in Turkey, where she had travelled for medical attention. May her Soul Rest In Peace. #NextMediaUG pic.twitter.com/s888525O3r

In 2009, she ventured into new territory – news anchoring at the then-upcoming NBS Television.
Doreen would later grow through the ranks to become General Manager of Dreamcatcher Productions in 2014, which in 2019 rebranded to Next Productions Limited – incredible growth and a great push for her career.
She was a hands-on natural Producer and Cinematographer, learning remarkably well on the job while also building a great team – from about 20 personnel to almost 100 – a proper division serving the fastest-growing media brands.
May Doreen’s Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
