Position Title: Head of Commercial Production and Events

Reports To: General Manager, Production

Main Purpose of the Role:
The Head of Commercial Production and Events is solely responsible for overseeing all commercial productions and ideation initiatives under Next Production. This role includes managing the end-to-end production of commercial content and leading the planning and execution of events. The objective is to develop engaging, impactful, and innovative productions that align with client objectives and enhance brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Productions Management
    • Lead and manage all aspects of commercial production, from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality output that meets client expectations.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop innovative concepts and strategies that resonate with target audiences.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized production solutions.
  2. Ideation and Concept Development
    • Drive the brainstorming and development of creative concepts for commercials, promotional materials, and branded content.
    • Ensure that all productions are aligned with current market trends and industry best practices.
    • Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration among production team members.
  3. Event Management
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, from corporate functions to large public events, ensuring flawless execution and client satisfaction.
    • Oversee logistics, budgeting, and vendor management for events, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setups, and staffing.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies for events to maximize audience engagement and attendance.
  4. Budget and Resource Management
    • Manage budgets efficiently for both commercial productions and events, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting quality standards.
    • Allocate resources strategically to maximize project outcomes and return on investment.
  5. Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of production professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  6. Collaboration Across Departments
    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and creative departments to ensure alignment between production activities and overall business objectives.
    • Coordinate with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate successful commercial productions and events.
  7. Quality Assurance and Compliance
    • Implement quality control measures to ensure all productions and events adhere to industry standards and organizational policies.
    • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and best practices related to commercial content and event management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial production, event management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale productions and events with a successful track record.
  • Strong understanding of the media production landscape and best practices for commercial content.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
