NBS Plus Launches “The Nextars” Movement to Inspire Uganda’s Young Changemakers

Today marked a powerful beginning at the Next Media Park as we officially launched #TheNextars Movement—a nationwide call to Uganda’s unstoppable generation to be good and do good.

The launch brought together hundreds of vibrant students, head teachers, and educators whose presence and energy reaffirmed the movement’s mission: to inspire positive behavior, amplify youth potential, and drive impact.

In a show of strong partnership, Sylvia Mulinge, CEO of MTN Uganda, joined us to officially launch this initiative. Her presence highlighted the necessity of collective effort in shaping a purpose-driven generation.
The #TheNextars campaign is powered by NBS Plus’ Vybz Nation and is anchored on three pillars:

  • Unstoppable Impact

  • Unstoppable Networks

This youth-centered campaign is set to run across schools and communities, offering mentorship, entertainment, and education that molds today’s youth into tomorrow’s storytellers, changemakers, and leaders.

As part of the initiative, Next Media also announced the upcoming Next Content Creator Hub—a dynamic space that will empower young talent with the skills, resources, and platforms to amplify their voices and ideas.
