David Boniface Nsubuga

David Boniface Nsubuga serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Next Media, where he leads the group’s technology strategy, infrastructure, and digital innovation agenda. Guided by the belief in turning technology and ideas into scalable business results, he focuses on building practical systems that solve real business challenges while driving sustainable growth.
With extensive experience across ICT infrastructure, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and digital platforms, David has played leading roles in the development and integration of Packetcore and ISP networks at Warid Telecom, Bharti Airtel Uganda, CSquared, Africell, and Blue Crane Communications. He has contributed to the design of 3G, 4G, and VoLTE investment cases for operators across Africa and has built digital payment solutions, agritech systems, and media platforms tailored for emerging markets.
His expertise also spans ICT policy, governance, systems integration, and strategic OEM partnerships across telecommunications, audiovisual solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise networks. Throughout his career, David has remained focused on transforming ideas into sustainable systems that deliver measurable impact for businesses and communities.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics, and a Diploma in Project Management.
Beyond his professional work, David enjoys music, volleyball, chess, and reading. He brings a thoughtful and innovation-driven approach to leadership, continuously aligning technology with business growth and audience needs.
