Dorah Atwongyeire is a seasoned multimedia specialist with over 15 years of experience in journalism and content production. As the Head of Multimedia, she leads the creation of impactful content across multiple platforms, ensuring high-quality storytelling that engages and informs audiences. With a background in both broadcast and print journalism, she brings a versatile skill set to her leadership role.

Throughout her career, Dorah has excelled in various roles, including writer, anchor, presenter, sub-editor, editor, and multimedia specialist. Her mentoring skills have shaped the careers of over 100 journalists, helping them grow in the industry. Her efforts have earned her accolades, such as the Best Writer Award and the Youngest Sub Editor Award.

Dorah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, specializing in Journalism, from Uganda Christian University. She has also pursued continuous professional development, obtaining certifications in compelling writing, election coverage, human rights, and digital media from prestigious organizations such as the BBC, Voice of America, and the US Agency for Global Media. Additionally, Dorah graduated from the 2024 CEO Mentorship program.

Her leadership philosophy is built on inclusivity and the belief that great ideas can come from anywhere. Outside of work, Dorah is passionate about learning, exploring new concepts, and has a unique fondness for scents, which help her unwind.
