Mariam Kaliisa is a dedicated human capital strategist passionate about driving organizational growth through people and culture. As Head of Human Capital, she leads initiatives to develop talent, enhance organizational performance, and ensure alignment between structure, processes, and strategic goals. With six years of experience in human resource management, Mariam has played a pivotal role in fostering a high-performance culture, earning her the Transformer of the Year award for five consecutive years.
She holds a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management from UMI and has completed specialized certifications, including the AGQC Quality Management Systems training and the CEO Mentorship Graduate Class of 2024. Mariam’s leadership philosophy is rooted in service leadership, driven by a commitment to helping individuals become the best versions of themselves.
Outside of work, Mariam enjoys reading, working out, and experimenting in the kitchen. Her passion for cooking brings creativity into her daily life. She lives by the motto: “God will put you back together in front of those who broke you.”
