Obed Bainomugisha

As Head of Audit and Compliance, Bainomugisha Obed provides assurance to senior management on the effectiveness of the company’s risk management, processes, and systems. He is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, regulatory, and compliance-related audits, ensuring strict adherence to policies and procedures.

With over seven years at Next Media, he has held various key roles, including Finance Auditor, Tax Officer, Credit Controller, and Accountant, playing a crucial role in financial oversight and strategic planning. He has also served as a board member of the Next Media SACCO Trustees, ensuring regulatory compliance and goal achievement.

Before joining Next Media, he was Head of Finance at Lidtech U Limited and an Accountant at Grand and Noble Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere University and is pursuing an MBA in Finance at Uganda Christian University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
