The 8th June 2022-launched station purposed ‘Championing Ugandan Sport’ also continues to promote the event using its mainstream and online platforms. This year’s marathon, themed “Run for Babies,” will be broadcast live for Ugandans unable to partake to watch proceedings at their convenience.

“As the home to all sports production from golf, rugby, pool, boxing, rally, athletics, and more, we are proud to work with MTN to produce a world-class marathon but also play a role in helping mothers and babies live a better life.”
The launch at the Next Media Park climaxed with a Zumba workout that had the NBS Sport General Manager, presenters, and Next Media staff participate in the activity.
This is the second pre-marathon activity broadcast on NBS Sport ahead of the marathon, with the first happening on 12th November 2022 at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
MTN Uganda Chief Marketing Officer Somdev Sen, “This vision and commitment of the MTN Kampala Marathon have been alive for the last 17 years. The real win is buying the kit because you contribute to improving maternal health facilities.”
