NBS Sport to broadcast the 2022 MTN Kampala Marathon LIVE.

NBS Sport has officially announced a partnership with MTN Uganda that will see Uganda’s first-ever 24-hour sports channel broadcast live the 2022 MTN Kampala Marathon slated for Sunday, 20th November.

 

The 8th June 2022-launched station purposed ‘Championing Ugandan Sport’ also continues to promote the event using its mainstream and online platforms. This year’s marathon, themed “Run for Babies,” will be broadcast live for Ugandans unable to partake to watch proceedings at their convenience.

 

Joseph Kigozi, General Manager of NBS Sport, noted that Next Media is delighted to foster social change, pledging UGX 200M towards the 2022 MTN Kampala Marathon.

“As the home to all sports production from golf, rugby, pool, boxing, rally, athletics, and more, we are proud to work with MTN to produce a world-class marathon but also play a role in helping mothers and babies live a better life.”

The launch at the Next Media Park climaxed with a Zumba workout that had the NBS Sport General Manager, presenters, and Next Media staff participate in the activity.

This is the second pre-marathon activity broadcast on NBS Sport ahead of the marathon, with the first happening on 12th November 2022 at the MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.

The 2022 edition of the MTN Kampala Marathon will be held on Sunday, 20th November starting at the Kololo Independence Grounds and will be broadcast live on NBS Sport on DStv Channel 377, StarTimes Channel 255, and Free-To-Air Channel 34 and exclusively streamed via Afro Mobile platform.
