Next Media Partners with Splash Uganda to Amplify the #FlavourMuKachupa Campaign

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, we welcomed the Splash Uganda team to the #NextMediaPark as we officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support the nationwide rollout of the #FlavourMuKachupa campaign.

The partnership brings together Next Media and Britania Allied Industries Limited, the manufacturers of Splash Kachupa, with a shared goal of celebrating and promoting a proudly Ugandan product through impactful storytelling and nationwide audience engagement.

The day began with a tour of the Next Media Park, where the Splash Uganda delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Ali Ebraik, visited various departments and experienced firsthand the innovation and creativity that drive our media ecosystem. The team was received by our Group CEO, Kin Kariisa, together with members of our corporate leadership team, before both organisations formalised the partnership through the signing of the MoU.

Splash Kachupa is a fruit-based beverage available in a variety of flavours including Mango, Apple, Tamarind, Orange, Grapes, and Berries, and forms part of Britania’s growing portfolio of locally manufactured consumer products.

Speaking during the engagement, Ebraik expressed confidence that the collaboration will help the brand reach more consumers across Uganda.

“We are looking at reaching every corner of Uganda, and we believe Next Media is the best place to communicate with our consumers about our product, Splash Kachupa,” he said.

Our Group CEO, Kin Kariisa, welcomed the partnership, highlighting the role of trusted media platforms in supporting manufacturers and connecting quality products with consumers.

“It’s very important as a manufacturer for people to know that you exist, and the only way to do that is to be on platforms that matter. When you put your product on NBS and our other platforms, it is proof that you have quality products, that you are believable, and that you exist in the market,” Kariisa said.

Beyond the signing ceremony, discussions focused on how both organisations will work together to strengthen the #FlavourMuKachupa campaign and celebrate Ugandan manufacturing through compelling content and meaningful audience engagement.

The visit concluded with a gesture of appreciation as the Splash Uganda team presented a special hamper to Kariisa and shared bottles of Splash Kachupa with the transformers, giving them an opportunity to experience the new beverage.

As we begin this partnership, we look forward to working with Splash Uganda to tell the story of a proudly Ugandan brand while connecting consumers across the country with products that reflect local innovation, quality, and enterprise.
