KRC TV has officially joined the United Media Alliance following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with United Media on Friday, April 11, at the Next Media Park.
KRC TV was represented by Hon. Ruhunda Alex, Chairman of the KRC Group of Companies, and Mugabo Josephine Nyakaana, General Manager of KRC TV, who formalized the partnership and affirmed a shared commitment to collaboration and growth within Uganda’s media space.
They now join the United Media Alliance, a consortium of media partners bringing together radio, television, and digital platforms across Uganda to strengthen communication, extend reach, and support impactful storytelling across the country.
This partnership marks an important step in expanding media collaboration, bringing KRC TV into a growing network of broadcasters working together to extend reach and amplify local voices.
KRC TV, a regional television station based in the Tooro region, is known for its strong focus on local content and cultural storytelling. Its addition to the alliance strengthens regional representation while opening up its stories to a wider national audience.
Through this collaboration, both parties are set to benefit from improved content sharing, wider coverage, and new opportunities for joint productions across platforms. It also creates room for more community-driven stories from the Rwenzori region to be seen and heard across the country.
As the United Media Alliance continues to grow, partnerships like this are shaping a more connected media space, supporting communities, and ensuring that stories from every part of Uganda reach broader audiences.
