NBS TV Launches #UGVotes2026 Election Coverage

Today at the Next Media Park, NBS Television officially launched #UGVotes2026, a comprehensive election coverage for Uganda’s 2026 General Elections, reaffirming the commitment to delivering election coverage that is live, balanced, and always reliable.

Over the years, NBS TV has consistently positioned itself as the trusted leader in national coverage. For #UGVotes2026, this legacy continues with a robust nationwide operation led by bureau chiefs, correspondents, and stringers across every region of Uganda.

At the launch, NBS unveiled its fixed election programming, including #NBSElection360 every Wednesday and Daily Election Updates at 8:30 PM. These broadcasts will provide fast, clear, and verified information, live on NBS TV and available for streaming via the AfroMobile app.

A key highlight of #UGVotes2026 is the deliberate inclusion of young Ugandans at the center of the conversation. This will be reflected in:

  • #NBSNews4U, a weekday bulletin presented by young people, in their language, airing at 8:00 PM on NBS Plus and streaming on AfroMobile and social platforms.

  • Gen Agenda, a youth-focused talk show unpacking policy, leadership choices, and national issues through the eyes of Uganda’s younger generation — a fresh equivalent of the well-established NBS Frontline.

  • Debates across the country, both at national and constituency levels, to give voters the opportunity to weigh promises against substance, enabling them to make informed decisions.

With these initiatives, NBS TV is reinforcing its role as Uganda’s Election Headquarters, ensuring voters have access to reliable, timely, and inclusive coverage throughout the 2026 election cycle.
