When we started Salam Television in 2015, we were looking to create a channel where not only Islamic content but also inspirational content could reach out to as many Ugandans as possible. Muslim parents unable to have their children access educational content have seen this reach them and their young ones in their living rooms.

Through the channel, we also opened Salam Charity, which has been very instrumental in providing humanitarian support to many Ugandans, ranging from those affected by famine to those affected by other natural disasters such as floods, disease and more. We have also seen so many schools built, mosques renovated and constructed, among so many others. We are now seeking partners to amplify this work that we are already doing so that we can impact even more Ugandans.

It is a pleasure that today we visited both Salam Television and Salam Charity and saw the amazing humanitarian work being done. We are grateful for such activities and look forward to doing more together.

My visit to the Next Media Park has amazed me even more – I had no idea that facilities like these were here; totally unexpected. May Allah continue blessing the works of your hands.

With what I have seen here, I can assure you that we shall stay in touch to ensure more great transformational work is done. What I have seen here today will positively impact our future engagements.
