This afternoon, Next Media Park had the honor of welcoming Princess Ruth Nsemere Komuntale Akiiki and Duke Anthony Phil Mark ahead of this year’s Ekyooto Ha Mpango celebrations.
Uganda is truly blessed to have a treasure like Princess Komuntale—an inspiring ambassador for the Tooro Kingdom and our nation at large. Her presence at Next Media Park was not only a celebration of heritage but also a powerful reminder of the role culture plays in shaping our identity and future.
As a young country with the majority of its population under 30, Uganda’s strength lies in how much we inspire and guide the next generation. Hosting the young people of Tooro alongside the Princess reinforced why platforms like Next Media exist—to inform, to transform, and to multiply impact across generations.
